Time Agency:
A group of people that can travel through space and time. There not from earth, earth hasn’t yet evolved enough to travel the stars and learn about the life out there. The Time Agency don’t care about humans, there small and unimportant
Time Lords:
Most of them are dead after the war between there planet and the darleks, however there are a few that survived, some of which are hiding on earth. Some are evil and some are nice, but they know all about aliens and are brilliant with technology
Civilians:
Know nothing about aliens, normally, but there have been a few times where they have been caught between Torchwood and aliens, most of the time there memory is wiped - but there are still some people out there who know of aliens, an we can't go forgetting the countless conspiracy theories about, now can we?
Military:
Groups like UNIT know about aliens, but they don’t deal with it the same way as Torchwood. To them, anything unknown is a threat that must be destroyed. lucky enough they don’t have the technology that Torchwood has, and don’t always know about the aliens about them.
Torchwood:
An elite group of alien fighters. there primary goal is to collect alien technology and uncover threats to earth. There is only ever 5 members of Torchwood, and well there is no free spaces, there are Torchwood canon characters that you are welcome to play
Aliens:
They can range from elves and dragons to little green men and crazy scientists. They can be humanoid of crazy, but what most of them have in common... is that they have travelled through the Rift.
The Rift:
The Rift manipulator is built into the Torchwood headquarters. No one knows how to control it, all they know is that it is the only thing stopping the dimensions from ripping themselves apart. Alien are often pulled through here, and sometimes it pulls humans through and lands them on alien planets. It’s unpredictable and uncontrollable.
