The Master has been defeated, 'Harold Saxon' replaced and the Government on the mend again. But reminded of what exactly life without his team is like; Captain Jack Harkness is amongst those on Earth once more.
After declining The Doctor's request to travel with him again, something Jack has waited for over a century to hear; all that's left for him to do is return to Cardiff, where Torchwood Three is still based.
What with the rift still volatile after the disastrous attempts of Jack and Tosh's imprisonment in forties and the rise of Abaddon, space junk is being thrown out into the streets of Cardiff left, right and centre. With constant downfalls of things falling through the rift, will the team ever get back on its feet?
With the after effects of the Masters failed plan still sending shock waves around those in the know. Every Torchwood still in existence has geared itself up. Though they were not witness to what happened, personnel of Torchwood two, Glasgow and Torchwood four, Belfast, have decided they will not follow in the footsteps of Jack Harkness and are continuing to arm themselves against not just the future; but Time Lords too.
