As they left, the Doctor sabotaged the Immortality Gate. One small, insignificant
wire remained in tact and, as the Doctor and Wilf left, the diamond settled back
into place.
Gallifrey is returning, slowly re-materializing in its original orbit. Rassilon and his
comrades plan for the End of Time. The Nightmare Child and the Could've Been
King reawaken along the fringes of the universe. Somewhere drifts the Meta-Crisis
Doctor, growing more twisted in his heartbreak with each revolution of his
TARDIS. Rose Tyler lays, unconscious, in Cardiff. The fragile shell of the universe
has been breached, and more and more cracks form each day.
A storm is brewing. Perhaps Rose should have heeded the Doctor's initial warning.
