Rp Example: In a dark alleyway in the streets of Cardiff a young man aged twenty two was getting ready to do something no mortal would ever have thought to be possible. He got a phew glances from late night walkers but other then that he was completely safe to do what he was about to do.
With a flick of his wrist and the press of a button on his watch-like mechanism and just like that the man was there no more. He was indeed travelling through the time vortex into the year of 1988.
He appeared in the basement of a house where he heard the faintest cry let out by a baby no more than a phew weeks old. He instantly recognized a voice in the distance saying “Richard, we still need to give him a name” the female voice said.
The male voice answered “He shall, his name will be David, David Donald Atkinson, do you hear me Rachelle, that shall be his name!”
It seemed at that point something snapped bringing everything back to the man in the basement, this was his birth-house “Oh my god!” he exclaimed.
It seemed he had been heard as he heard the basement door creak open. He had to act fast he had to either hide or face his father, until he heard the cocking of a double barrelled shotgun. ‘I guess the second option is out’ he thought to himself.
So he hid in the nearest object that seemed to be able to fit him, an empty barrel that perhaps once contained food. So he fitted him self in and tried his hardest not to move or make a sound.
“I know you’re in here you little punk, show yourself and perhaps I won’t need to use this” as Richard cocked the shotgun a second time.
About five minutes later the man seemed to give up as he walked back up the stairs. David got out of his hiding spot and sat upright against the wall, waiting for the time when he could be free to explore the house which he had lived in for nearly fifteen years of his life.
Three hours had passed until the house went quiet except for the snores of his sleeping father. He decided to get up and leave the basement; his first stop was the room that had been his since he was born. Before he opened the door he heard the parents wake. He decided it was time to go back to his own time. This would be the last time he saw them, since the night of their deaths 17 years ago, he knew he could never come back to this time unless the matter was of utter importance.
He went back to the basement, clicked the button on his watch and with one last glance at the house he grew up in, he disappeared; he arrived with a flash of light to the same spot where he left. Looking around before he stepped out of the alleyway, just to make sure the coast was clear, he walked out and into the darkness of the night bearing in mind that he managed to hear his parent’s voice one last time.
