Kastiel’s easy-going expression of care free happiness shone through eyes that momentarily fixed on her as she spoke. “Yeah... keep an eye out for the brain he should have stored about here...” he agreed cheekily, obviously finding her idea amusing. He was careful to keep his eyes off the hand and sleeping quarters for the time being – he did not want to end up on the floor laughing again. Instead he swept his curious gaze about the place. Every now and then he would glance towards the computer screen, or flick his gaze over to Carlie to see what she was looking at, but mostly his eyes remained fixed in front of him as he looked about him. “Lets be carful not to touch too much” He added softly, leaning forward to look at a sparkly rock sitting lonely on the desk. As he peered closer he tried to make out the colours and designs on it. But they seemed fluid and shifting... he honestly could not tell you what colour it was. After a moment of staring he blinked and shook his head, feeling momentarily dazed.
He remembered then, the possibility of some of the things stored up here could be harmful... but no, surely they would not be. He was fairly sure that anything potentially dangerous was given to Ianto for storing or locking away. He tried to make himself content with that line of thought, but all the same, he threw a few worried glances over to Carlie, he would not let anything happen to her that would be his fault. She was his friend, and he would make sure to watch out for her. “Yeah... as I said, your welcome to the chilly creepy crazy vaults and catacombs of the place” He murmured softly in reply to her sleeping her question. Yes, it definitely seemed that Jack slept here, and well Kastiel had fallen asleep at his station once or twice – he wouldn’t have been to keen on the idea of mobbing in. A little to creepy for his liking... “Wow... some of the things here are very strange...” He commented, as he peered through a small peace of glass in photo-frame. If you didn’t look to close seemed to be movement at the corners, but the moment you turned towards the movement, there was nothing there. He shivered and moved away from the empty photo frame, that somehow, didn’t seem that empty.

Carlie watched Kastiel as he spoke, in reply to her joke about the brain.“Yeah... keep an eye out for the brain he should have stored about here...” He agreed. He turned back away to look, not giving a second glance to the bed and hand. Carlie looked over her shoulder at the screen, still nothing. She was just waiting for some one to walk in and bust them, but it kept not happening.“Lets be carful not to touch too much” Carlie nodded, letting out a deep sigh, to let him know that she agreed, if he wasn't looking at her. Carlie looked at Kastiel, looking at something on the desk, but she looked away, to look at something else. “Yeah... as I said, your welcome to the chilly creepy crazy vaults and catacombs of the place” Kastiel murmured softly, making Carlie laugh. She wouldn't mind moving in, less traveling distance.“Wow... some of the things here are very strange...” Carlie looked at Kastiel. She had a smile on her face."Well Jack is very odd!!" She giggled. She had thought Jack odd, but after a while got used to him."Found anything?"

He put down the photo-frame, trying not to look too spooked in front of Carlie, instead he rubbed his hands against the sides of his pants, realising only now how dusty the frame had been. Damit... so much for leaving no evidence. He forced himself to look back at the frame. It gave him the creeps, he could tell there was something in it... just out of sight. Some shape, some shadow... moving. But how was that possible? He shivered and quickly wiped across the top of the frame with his hand, that way the dust removal didn’t look so much like finger-prints. “Very, very, very odd...” He agreed softly, shivering slightly and purposely turning his back to the frame, the hairs on the back of his neck were standing up now, and he didn’t like turning his back. He knew he should be braver... he worked for Torchwood now, but not only that, he also once lived in a land riddled by monsters. Some weird little photo-frame shouldn’t be able to get to him so much.
“...” He opened his mouth to speak, but just then the siren went often, screaming in there ears. Damit! He grabbed the palm-top and fled to his station, jamming the lead into the computer he uploaded it all back to the computer. He brought it up on its original screen and started flicking through it. To his horror... he saw... no... Impossible.
“Carlie!” He cried out, and then, becoming wordless for possible the first time, he pointed to the screen. On it, was a shadowy figure moving through the lower levels of Torchwood, at that exact moment the figure turned, for them both to see... Kastiel. “impossible” He whispered, pointing to the time on it, no wonder the alarms went off... it was detecting two of the same people. “We need... we need to...” He seemed at a lost, should he... kill himself? Well... not himself obviously, but... but, he gave up, and instead looked helplessly at Carlie

Carlie was looking out the window of Jacks office. She was listening carefully to Kas, though she didn't turn to look at him when he spoke."Very, very, very odd..." He agreed softly. She heard him put something down, and almost snorted, she remembered quite clearly that he told her not to touch anything, but there he goes, Mr Nosy. Carlie threw a glance over her shoulder to see Kas standing back to a empty photo frame, opening his mouth to speak to her. But as he spoke a siren went off. Kas grabbed the palm-top and fled to his desk. Carlie waited a moment, pulling the gun out from the small of her back, inbetween her top and skin. She then followed after Kas, holding the gun carefully. When she got up to Kas's desk he was sitting there pluging plugs here and there, non of it making any sense. Carlie turned away to check that her gun had a magazine. "Empty!!!" She complained, running to her desk, pulling a full magazine out off her desk. She jammed it in, and started to walk around the hub carefully, her eyes scanning the area. It would so not be funny if it was Jack, pulling some horrible prank on them, or just unaware that he had set the alarm off. Imagine shooting Jack. Of course he would live, but it would make Carlie feel horrible. "Carlie!" She heard Kas cry out, and ran as fast as she could to him. He was silently pointing at the screen, Carlie had never known him to be silent. Carlie bent closer, her gun still held tightly in her hand. Her eyes caught a shadowy figure moving through the lower levels of Torchwood. Then the figure turned, making Carlie gasp audiobly. It was Kastiel. She looked at the Kas that sat in front of her and back to the screen. She mouthed 'What the hell' to Kas, after he spoke."Impossible" Carlie watched him as he pointed at the time. After a moment of brain racking, she realised, probally a bit later than Kas, the reason the alarms had gone off. It had detected two of the same person. Carlie blinked slowly, her brain trying to think clearly. How the hell did that happen. She looked at Kas, her mouth a little o of shock.
"We need... We need to..."
Kas said, seeming lost for words, which was very unlikely for him. Carlie bit her lip, would this mean they would have to kill him, Kas, though it wasn't him, it couldn't be him, cause Kas sat right in front of her. There was nothing to explain it, nothing at all. Unless some alien creature had cloned him, which was impossible. Kas looked at her, a look of helplessness on his face, making Carlies stomach turn. Seeing Kas helpless was almost as bad as seeing Jack helpless. She put her gun down on the desk and put her face in her hands, her mind still wheeling.
"No ideas then?"
She asked Kas, knowing the answer already, having got it from his expression. She looked back up at him, her mind now working a little more better. She had to think of a plan, since Kas couldn't. And that made her panic, okay she was smart, but not as smart as Kas or Jack, and they always made up the plans, or they just went with the flow of things. Her brainstorm was failing. They couldn't shot the secound Kas, as they don't know whats happening. Maybe the best way would be to trick him, or something. If is Kas, would that mean it would be like Kas, which meant it would be attracted to technology.
"Kas, if it is you..... would it be interested in technology?"
She asked, speaking her thoughts in a question form. She then thought of another plan.
"And if not, do we still have the smoke guns??"
Carlie asked, knowing that Kas would probally need more information. She bit her lip, looking directely into Kas's eyes.
"Cause if it likes computers and all, we could trick him, put a computer in a cell and make it seem interesting and lock him in. Or if we had a smoke gun we could smoke him and then get him into the cell somehow....... Then call Jack, he will know what to do."
Carlie spoke softly, not moving her eyes, and hardly blinking, speaking rather fast. Of course Jack would know what to do, he always did, he was always there to help. But what if it was something in his office, that could mean that they could be busted, and that would mean so much trouble. Yet again Carlies mind was a blurr, though somehow she kept her plans on top of everything else. She kept looking into Kas's eyes while waiting for him to reply to her, snap out of the silent trance he was in at the moment and started to think up a brilliant plan, so brilliant it will help all the problems that had arisen.

[shadow=Navy,left,300]Captain Jack Harkness[/shadow]
Jack Harkness... a stolen name, no less. One he wore with pride however, for it came from a Captain, and suited him like no other ever would. Coat billowed about his feet now, as he stood in the cold, early morning breeze above the building closest to Torchwood He always found a way to the rooftops. He felt he belonged here, looking down at the busy life of the Cardiff streets. He liked to think he looked a mysterious, interesting figure, standing high with the wind as his compony. He led a lonely life... you could be surrounded by people, and still feel lonely. He of all people knew this. He was too old, he had seen to much... lost too much. Yes still he strived onwards, for Torchwood must be ready. There was still so much for them to learn... surely it was too soon, for whatever this great threat is, for them to face.
He sighed, weary already with his far too deep thinking, and instead his eyes grazed the ground below. He saw Carlie, a sweet young girl... so much like Gwen... he did not want her to lose her heart, as they all seemed to have. Beside her stood Kastiel... he was a strange one, he would be sure to keep an eye on the alien that had decided to join them. He was to curious... to easy to manipulate with a love of knowledge... he simply hoped he made the right decision, that they would be able to count on him to watch there backs.
He continued to stand there, he felt almost comfortable now, despite the wind that racked through his coat and ruffled across his hair. He did not feel like moving yet, but remaining, locked away with his heavy thoughts. He knew what the two would be doing... they would slump at there stations, waiting for something to happen... catching up on boring old paper work. They could be hard steady workers, so prepared to do good. They weren’t weary, not yet, anyway... not like the others had gotten. It wore you down, this job... it chipped away at you until you lost your heart... and all you were in it for was the adrenaline... No, he couldn’t think like that. He relied on his team, he needed to know that he could trust them. He needed to know that they would be ready... when the real threat came.
He hardly even seemed to notice the passing of time now, he was too old... the minutes, the hours, they had lost there meaning... he counted now in centuries, even if the one he feared the most was upon them... he didn’t noticed, a few hours pass him by. The sky turned lighter, bathing the city in its orange glow.
“Whrrr Whrrrr Whrrr Whrrr”
The sudden, and screeching sound of there siren blared so strongly through his ear piece he felt disorientated as his hand flashed to his face, ripping it away, before muting it. He shook his head slightly, sticking the thing back in his ears as he turned and fled towards the stairs, taking them two at a time, leap after leap until he was racing down the stairs. He reached there neat little elevator in no time, going out of perception to anyone near by as he stood in the platform as it began to sink downwards. He jumped off it before it touched the ground, bending his knees to adsorb the impact and he was running once more. He reached the two Torchwood members present and sighed softly, shaking his head in an almost joking gesture. “Barely a few hours alone... and already your tearing the place down” His voice sounded stern, but there was a hint of a joke behind it, which vanished almost immediately, the Torchwood team leader was ready for action. He leaned over Kas’s shoulder... the man who apparently wasn’t as good in a crisis as he thought, to see what the problem was. “Double ganger?” He voiced softly, but he seemed to be speaking more to himself then anyone else. Double ganger, clone, Shape shifter... evil twin. Honestly... there were endless possibilities in the world of Torchwood.
He reached for his gun, it was old and dented by use... but it had served him well for a long time. By habit, he checked the cartridges, and loaded the gun. “Lets be on our way... I herd your thinking there Carlie, good work. Kastiel... I want you to sit this one out” He turned to the still flabbergasted guy, and shot a stern glance his way, before looking back to there medicine girl. “Grab the flash grenades, we want to blind him, but not ourselves” Where ever was Ianto when you needed him... he knew this place and the location of every item like the back of his hand. “Meet me downstairs with the items, five minutes, we got to find out what were dealing with here” He told her, and already he was off, jacket flittering about his legs, as it always was... he always made a fashion statement, even if it was also with the same old clothes...

Carlie didn’t hear the elevator come down, her eyes still on the screen as she waited for Kas’s reply, her heartbeat racing, her palms starting to sweat with worry, they weren’t really going to be counting on her here would they? She heard a voice behind her and spun around, to see Jack standing behind them, her heartbeat quickened a little bit more, shocked to see him there, a faint blush appeared on her face. They were busted. Carlie watched as Jack lent over Kas’s shoulder to look at the computer screen. Kas still was looking at the screen in shock, as Jack said something about a double ganger. Then he reached for his gun, his old webbly. Carlie suddenly thought if he was planning to kill this other ‘Kas’, but that was not something Jack would do.
She nodded to Jack slightly, as he congratulated her for her thinking. He then told Kas to stay back, and Carlie went to open her mouth in her friends defence but closed it quickly, seeing the reason behind it. How would they know which Kas they wanted to capture? Jack had turned to look at her and she looked back at him, as he talked to her about using flash grenades, she had forgotten that they had had any of those, much better than a smoke one….
Jack then told her to grab the grenades as he ran off, his coat flying out behind him, flirting with his long legs, looking like a run away movie star or something... or maybe like a large bat, herring after him. She had thought it was odd to wear such a large coat, in any weather, but it was Jack, he was odd. She picked up her stun-gun from the desk, quickly patting Kastiel on the shoulder, before running off to the weapons cachet. She pushed the door open, grabbing two flash grenades, before running in the general direction which Jack had gone in.
She caught up to him quick enough, he was standing by the wall, gun just out of sight from the corner, and she realised that that must be were there invader stood. She threw a quizzed look his way, looking for instructions on what to do now.

Kastiel was on the verge of hyperventilating right now, so he forced himself to take a breath and relax. Okay, so he didn’t really think that meeting his... twin, would be in the job description, but the unexpected definitely was. He sighed softly, resting his head on his palms, elbows n the desk as he looked at his twin. “By god... what do we do? If we kill it... do I die?” He wondered softly, shaking his head. He felt lost, he wasn’t use to that... it was strange to him, he had once been a leader, watching out for others was in his nature. But when it concerned himself... how could he know what to do? Experience, of course. But all the same... he felt too lost now, he wanted a leader to tell him what to do... Well, it looked like his wish was about to be granted.
The elevator sounded behind him, and he wondered if the coffee boy had decided to show up. Didn’t matter, so it wasn’t until, there leader was hovering over his shoulder, speaking into his ear, did he finally realise who it was. “Captain!” He murmured, almost jumping, before struggling for a moment to compose himself and give a half-smile. He was told to stay behind, and felt a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. Why would there captain wish him to remain behind? Did Jack really think he would not be able to handles himself... okay, so he had gotten a little freaked here, but all the same... he had proved himself plenty times over before now. His quick brain, however... somewhat slow for the time being as he recovered, finally put the pieces together, of course Jack couldn’t have him there... they could shot the wrong person! He sunk a little in his chair with relief, smiling up at Carlie as she squeezed his shoulder to give him comfort. He nodded his head at her. “Be safe, keep your ear piece in” he murmured softly, and with Flash grenades in hand she was gone, running after there leader in a few swift bounds.
As she did vanish, however, worry settled on his stomach. Carlie was there medical officer, and he wasn’t actually sure he had seen her fight before. He worried for her now... for they had no idea what they were up against, and of all the Torchwood members, she was the highest that he counted amongst his friends. Damit! He was still being slow, he could monitor there progress, and that of the other Kastiel, through the computer. “He’s near the east wing, he’s not going anywhere... he looks... confused.” Kastiel admitted, watching the two through the cameras displaying on his monitor... be safe he begged them in his thoughts, hating how helpless he felt to be left behind, even if it was here, behind the computer, that he could be the most help in this situation.

It was always like this in Torchwood... we were always rushing, it was always one mad dash to the finish line... if you lagged or tripped or turned to help another you got left behind, were swarmed on by the vast unknown of the world and all the worlds earth was yet to know. There was little he could do, or so he felt most of the time... sometimes there was just nothing he could do to save them. All that worked for him... well, let’s just say no one expected to live long in the line of Torchwood. He tried to be withdrawn, to give to attachments to those about him. They would die, or leave him. He would lose them all eventually, for no one lived as long as he did. No one had or could survive as much as he had.
Yet again... he was in a situation were he was none the wiser to what was going on He owed it to his team to know, but there was little he could do but simply go to action... to discover and to learn. Carlie was quickly jumping into action, good on her... now it was time to see how she handled herself. And then there was Kastiel, fumbling about, trying to get that brilliant brain of his into action. Jack had already turned and left them before Kastiel finally got it together and put himself into action, his voice sounding through the speakers as he told them what he was seeing. “Good job, Kastiel... but next time you have to be sharper” A compliment and a warning in one... well, the kid had to learn. Torchwood had to be ready. They would be, to, if it wasn’t for losing... ahh, yes, Tosh and Owen, they had fallen behind and he could not save them. He had lost two of the best and the brightest that day, and with two members he was starting from scratch. How could Torchwood be ready now! But he could not, and never would give up on his team. He tore his thoughts from the future, and placed them on the now. He needed to know the circumstances of what had happened, if he was to connect the dots he needed to know how and why. He needed to learn, if he was to protect his team. Speaking of his team... were was Ianto and Gwen, the experienced members of his team. “Kastiel, review the images before the alarm, I want to find out what was happening, and what the hell were you two doing before hand? That you only notice after the alarm, and not before... get to it Kas” He growled as he heard a sigh over the speakers. He would not settle for lazy members, he needed answers and he needed them now. He had reached the spot Kastiel spoke of, and stood with his back to wall just before the last corner. His gun was raised, loaded and ready, but he wasn’t ready to kill just yet. “Were are you with those Flash bombs, Carlie?” He asked, just as she sprinted into view. He nodded his head at her, grabbing the flash’s out of her hands and was already sprinting in the opposite direction, his voice on the speakers once more. “Wait for the flash Carlie, and protect your eyes, the moment, and I mean the moment the flash is out, I want you in there with a Torchwood edition stun gun, take him out Carlie, and don’t miss” He instructed, heading the long way around to ambush this Kas double from the other side. His running pace got him there with, apparently, only seconds to spear, as Kastiel’s voice cackled into his ear once more. “He’s beginning to move, you have moments until he’s out of the room, and then your games up – he’s heading your way Carlie” The kid commented, good, he was letting them down just yet them. Jack pulled the pin and threw the grenade, a few moments later a bang and bright light filled the room. Jake waited for Carlie to act, since he didn’t want to kill the thing, he was acting as back-up in case things went wrong for there newest member of Torchwood.

As Carlie reached Jack, he was asking her where the grenades were through his earpiece. As she reached his side he nodded his head at her, grabbing them off her and sprinting in the opposite direction. Carlie listened carefully as his young, brash american voice told her what to do. He was heading in the direction of the secound Kas. This made her think of the real Kas upstairs, and how he was so stunned and silent the last time she had seen him. After she had patted him on the shoulder, he had told her to keep her ear piece in and to be safe, which made her put it in. She hadn't had it on, but it had been in her pocket, as she thought she would not need it. She spoke into with a soft voice.
"Are you okay Kas?"
Hoping that Kas was alright, he had told them where 'he' was but that didnt mean he was okay fully yet. She jumped as Kas's voice came over the earpiece, telling them what the other him was doing. Maybe he was alright, she hoped he was. Her heart jumped when Jack asked Kas to bring up the camera pictures and to tell him what they were doing before the alarm went off. Carlie felt her self gasp audibly, they were totally busted. This was a big shock for her too. She could still feel her heart beating faster than anything. Carlie covered her eyes, looking away from the grenade as it went off, when Jack pulled the pin out. Then as the light started to dim, she spun around, seeing that the secound Kas was close to her and shot with the stun gun. She heard a gasp and knew that she had hit him and let out a deep breath as the rest of the light faded. Her brown eyes fell upon the very still figure that laid on the ground. Her gun was still in her hands, knuckles white, she had just someone for the first time in her life, though it was only a stun gun. A guilty feeling was in her stomach. Would this happen everytime she fired a gun at a person, or alien. She was fine practising in the shooting range with Jack watching her like a eagle, giving her a compliment here and there, telling her were to aim and change her posture every now and then. She had never thought that she would have to shoot anyone in her life. She had taking up a job as a doctor to help people, not injure, or worse, kill them. But she had hated how boring it was at the hospital, and how the medical staff went allowed to be friends, not that much. She liked being part of Torchwood, cause she had friends, mainly Kas, who was upstairs, probally watching her. She looked up at the camera, with a very slight smile, as she spoke.
"He's down"
She murmured softly into the earpiece, very sure her voice was shaking. She walked slowly over to the double ganger, saying hello to see if he was awake. No reply, she turned and looked in the direction where the grenade had come from, waiting for Jack to appear, gun still in her hands, unable to drop it

Kastiel was typing away at his keyboard, up in front of him were quite a few screens. The first screen was on the cameras around the spot Carlie and Jack were entering. He could not help but bite his lip and worry as he eyes trained on that screen. But the voice of Jack in his earpiece quickly had him sweating. “I think... I think this is my fault” He admitted softly through his earpiece He replayed through his brilliant memory, the time Carlie and him had spent in Jack’s office. He remembered all the strange things that had caught his eye first. The hand... the decorations, the photo-frame.... He had been compelled to touch that photo-frame. He had seen something moving in the corner of the image. Forever out of proper view. A shapeless shadow... he remembered putting it down, and the alarms going off... It didn’t take a genius to realise it had something to do with that empty photo-frame. It didn’t take a genius to realise that it was Kastiel’s fault, through-and-through. Shame-faced, he continued with his work, listening to the heavy sigh through his speakers. “I’ve gathered that already, Kas” Jake admitted softly, and somehow, the calm way his leader said it... worried Kastiel even more then the anger he had been expecting. God, could you even get fired in this job? If he did, would he then... ‘vanish’ there had been the belief in Torchwood that if you ever left you were quickly dealt with.
Kastiel, still sweating, watched the screen as Jake threw the Flash grenade. He could watch all the events play out before him, well he was safe and sound before a computer screen. Watching his one proper friend hold a weapon, dealling with his mistakes, he could watch it all. The... other Kastiel, had been heading towards Carlie, but it stoped now, a stunned expression that mirrored the one on the original Kas filled its expression as Carlie turned the corner and shot it unconscious. As it turned out, she was a pretty good shot. She looked... shocked, however, and Kastiel moved his chair around as through to jump from his chair, but it was like Jake had read his mind, as his leaders voice filtered through his ear piece. “We need you at the desk Kas, watch from there” He ordered, and Kas heaved a sigh, turning back around he quickly moved through the recorded camera videos, putting up on the screen the last hour or so before Jake was there.
On the screen now, playing in a loop, was Kas and Carlie, entering the room and looking about. There was no sound, but by the animated expressions on Kas’s face in the screen, it was obvious it was his idea. Kas sighed and slumped his head in his hands. He was so fired...

Jack watched the Flash grenade roll to the floor, the Kas-look-alike turn, and then Jack was covering his eyes as the room lit up. He uncovered them to see Kas stumble, and Carlie come in and knock him down. She told them that he was down, her voice was shaking and wobbly. She looked like she was about to break apart. He knew that she had never actually shot someone before. He had trained her well, anyone could see that. But of course, she was new to Torchwood... and unlike Gwen, when she had been new she had had the experience of a police officer to take with her. Carlie was the most innocent of all of them. He wasn’t even sure why he had chosen her for Torchwood... sure, she was around when monsters came a’ calling. She had seen what they could do, and when he drugged her, nothing had happened. There were very few people ammine to there memory drug, and Carlie was one of them. Maybe this was why he had hired her... it didn’t do to have someone not on his team, running around with that kind of knowledge. Not that he had much choice there most of the time... what with the Doctor on the loose, running amuck and leaving people knowing. God... the Doctor, he had given up his chance to stay with his hero, and instead he remained here, he watched over his team. He couldn’t leave them, not again. Not after how they had been last time, when he had returned. They had been shaken, there trust in him had been shaken... maybe that also had something to do with why he had dragged Carlie into this. Because she could see straight to the heart of things, with a heart like the one she held. Didn’t matter... fact is, she was here now, and it was he that had dragged her here. Looking at her expression, he realised something else. “We need you at the desk Kas, watch from there” He ordered softly, knowing Kas would want to come down and comfort his friend, but the fact was... he didn’t was him anywhere near his... twin.
Jack tucked his gun out of sight and moved slowly towards Carlie, he put a smile on his face, had his hands in front of him as he surveyed her expression carefully. “You did good, Carlie, suspect down and no one hurt.” He reached her now, and carefully clasped the gun in both of hands he pulled it free and put it away near his webbly. He gently put one arm over her shoulder and nodded towards the Kastiel she had put down. “Come on... let’s see what were dealing with?”He told her gently, steering her towards the fallen figure. He stopped just before him, and left go of Carlie, to kneel before there invader. His jacket touching the ground behind him, but pushed to the side in front of him to give him room as he gently turned Kas over to get a better look at his face. Starring at him now... well, there was not one difference to this Kas and the one upstairs. He picked up the twin and threw him over his shoulder, looking back at Carlie with a soft expression, to much heart to her, maybe... “Come on Carl, let’s go lock this one up. We can talk to him when he’s awake” He murmured softly, heading towards the nearest cell block. He took his time, only now, to spear a thought to the Kas upstairs. By the sound of his voice, he was very afraid of what was to come. But he remembered when Gwen was new, almost the first thing she did was let loose an alien by mistake. “And Kas... don’t worry, we all make our mistakes. Just, you better make sure there’s no repeats...” he ordered, his voice firm and yet forgiving at the same time. Yes, they all made there mistakes... even he made them.

Carlie listened to Jack telling Kas to stay at his desk. Carlie knew that Kas would have to bring up the video images which happened before the alarm….. the ones that showed her and Kas in his office. Maybe it was something that Kas touched which made this twin of his. She sighed softly, knowing how much trouble they would be in, and how much more Kas would be in. Jack came up to her, a smile on her face, hands in front of her, looking at her expression. He told her that she did well. She still felt the guilty blush on her cheeks. She let Jack take her gun, though she was planning to put it back away. He put an arm over her shoulder and nodded his head towards the Kas twin. She let him led her over to the other Kas, which she had just stun-gunned. She watched as Jack bent down, pushing his jacket out of the way. Then he picked it up and threw it over his shoulder. As they headed to the nearest cell, Carlie walked in front of Jack to open up the door for him. “Should I take a blood test, before he wakes up, to see if it’s….. human?” Carlie asked Jack gently after he told Kas not to worry and be more careful later on in life. She rushed quickly to her desk and grabbed a few medical things, smiling quickly at Kas, as she ran back to the cell with Jack. She bent down next to the twin Kas.“I don’t think he may want to give up blood or be tested on when he wakes up.” She stated, her voice calming down a bit and her head working much better. She could do the whole medical thing, even if it hurt someone, as it was her job, she was trained for it. Though now she knew she could shot someone, and would if it was to protect herself, or someone else, mainly her team members. She grabbed out a tiny syringe and looked up at Jack, her eyes asking him if she should do it. She thought it was a good idea and they could do some other stuff to see if it was human or not.
