Peter took the pirate ship, ablaze with fairy lights back to Neverland, with sadness in his heart and a lonely future without his Lost Boys. But his unhappiness was not to last. Every so often children fell out of their prams and he would rescue them and take them to Neverland where he would teach them how to do all the things his old gangs had done. It was a slow means to regaining normality.
Somehow Hook had fought his way out of the Crocodile's mouth and escaped with his crew except Mr Smee. The Captain's sidekick had meant what he said about turning over a new leaf and Hook was furious when he realised Smee wasn't coming back. Little did he know that Smee had hidden himself in one of Neverland's Caves.
So life in Neverland returned to normal with Hook and Pan facing off whenever Pan fancied a good old sword fight and humiliating Captain Hook. Of course Tinkerbell was with him every step of the way and the pair had many adventures.
Back in the real world Wendy and all the boys were beginning to deeply regret their decision to stay in the real world rather than live in Neverland with Peter. Somehow the idea of growing up seemedworse. Even Wendy was no longer sure if this was what she wanted. Michael certainly wanted to go back and even John was panicking about the future. They and the previous Lost Boys made a pact. If Peter were to come back then they would ask to go back with him.
So every night Wendy would tell stories in the hope that Peter would come to hear them. Little did she know that the Darling house was not the only house Peter went to hear stories. There were other creative children who made their own stories that entertained Peter. Some of them were also invited to Neverland too. The children of the world now had a choice to make. They could grow up and have boring jobs and be married or live with Peter and have fun and adventures in Neverland.
Outside of all this unaware that his own characters had come to life, J.M. Barrie was living in London and was good friends with Sylvia and her boys, his feelings for her growing every day. However the first day he knew something was strange was when he attended a ball for people of all trades and he heard Mr Darling talking of Wendy and his boys. Barrie was completely astounded and as he talked to Mr Darling and got to know him over the next few weeks he discovered about the children's disappearance.
Barrie explained to Sylvia and the boys that his characters had come to life and aftter weeks of trying to convince them it paid off when Sylvia heard the story from a unaware Mr Darling and realised the truth. Barrie realised if it was so that his characters and world had come to life then that means he himself had the power to take them to Neverland. However how to get them there befuddled him so he started coming up with ideas how to integrate themselves there.
